Obituary Ken Blakemore

It is with sadness to report the passing of Ken Blakemore in January this year.

I first met Ken back in the 90’s, part of that little group of locals that included his nephew John Moore and John Peters. A long standing member of SEAMS, Ken will always be remembered for his open crank engines that he liked so much. Latterly this was usually something American made and the more unusual the better. Some of his last outings were to the local SEAMS gatherings at Southdowns Garden Centre not far from his home, often supported by his son Alan. He had spent the last few months living in a care home. RIP friend. Our condolences to Alan, Sharon and the family.
