Saddlescombe Farm Gas-Up 21st April

This event is held at the old farm that nestles in the valley on the South Downs near Devils Dyke, the club has been putting on displays here for a number of years, and this year we had a good number of different engines on display with a number driving machinery.

In the farm yard a number of stalls were set up showing crafts and selling items such as plants, jars of honey, eggs etc. There were tours around the old farmhouse and you could look around the gardens.

The weather was quite good to us but a cool wind set in later. The number of public seemed down on last year but still a good number of questions being asked about our display.
